“Intelligent” Life
A collection of digital illustrations concentrating on a theory as to why we as humans haven’t stumbled across other lifeforms. It states that there is a threshold that intelligent life comes to, a threshold where as If correcting the natural balance, the species wipes itself out. On the right I apply that theory to five different scenarios, different planets, different species, different ends. I wanted them all to have different color pallets and feels to them, each of them being carefully nuanced with their own individual backstories. The piece on the top right was seen again further up the page as one of the first line drawings I did of this environment, really studying how this planet would look. These still hold a special place in my heart for their originality and their color pallets.
