“Alchemy Lab”

From start to finish, this was a 10 week long project where I learned the basics of hard-surface modeling, uv-mapping, texturing, and lighting an environment! This project was a lot of fun as I learned so many new things that I hadn’t known along my track as a Character Animation student. Taking this project a step further than what was required, there were a few objects that I sculpted and retopologized such as the fish, skull, and birds! Then for the final presentation I taught myself a little bit of the basics of creating simulations in Maya’s Bifrost editor for the smoke, fire, and candle! There’s still so much I can continue pushing with this project that I hope to do in my free time!
